Moving Forward by Standing Still

It takes a lot for me to stand still; especially when I feel I have everything figured out! Standing still allows one to feel where you are and what is going on. If you come to a crossroads then stop, sit a while and wait. It’s taken you a great effort to get to this point, so one more moment won’t hurt.

Obviously you don’t want to starve, like the donkey who couldn’t decide which bale of hay to eat, but it is OK to journey inward before continuing with the outer journey.
